Hallo, what is the optimal angle of the funnel, and does angle really matter?
Unfortunately, the optimum angle of the silo hopper is strongly dependend on the combination of wall surface and material stored in the silo. Since it is the most important feature making the operation of a silo realiable there is a bunch of work done about determining the right hopper angle. Look for anything related to "Jenike Method" to learn more about it.

Was kann man machen, wenn das Schüttgut nicht mit Luft kontaminiert werden darf und wie sieht es mit der Explosionsgefahr aus? Ist das System gegenüber anderen Verfahren dann noch finanziell tragbar, wenn man z.B. inerte Gase verwenden müsste?

Depends on what material you have in the silo, but for fine-grained powders such as flour, sugar etc. is definetely better to use the siperm installation.
